Moments of light # 3

   For this moment of light my partner and I for the photograph project were wanting to do a silhouette and I found this photograph. I think the colors and texture are very fascinating and the depth of field is nice. I like how the clouds give a nice texture and break up the colors so it is not flat. I also feel that it is just very pretty to look at.

I chose this photograph because I was trying to find images that were not to complicated to replicate and I found this photo. I am intrigued by the contrast because the people in the white clothing are in the dark while the one person in the black clothing is in the light. I like the shadows and the darkness this pictures mood is. When I first looked at it the image made me feel cold and very ominous.

I chose this photograph because the colors are contrasting, but compliment each other. The turquoise is cold and the gold is warming. The photo looks like a painting using light. I like the swirls and leading lines that make your eye go around the photograph.

I chose this photograph because I like the stain glass and sunlight combination and the effect it has. The color is unique and the different panes have different colors that filter through the light.

I chose this photograph because I liked the warm colors of the leaves and the contrast of the road. The water adds a cool reflection. I also like the ripple effect on the road.

I chose this photograph for my moment of light because I think the shadows are very cool. I also like the contracts in colors. The texture of the flower makes it more interesting to look at.

I chose this photograph because of the warmth in the light and the color seems distorted giving a cool purple and blue tones to the surrounding area. This was taken at the learning Cathedral in Oakland. I also think the shape in interesting. Thanks, Cat

Moments of Light number 2

This Photograph I took myself while driving not recommended for anyone. (Including myself) I tried to do cool things with night lighting and this was one of my best shots and it was the most spontaneous. I really like it and the patterns the light creates I think are really cool and I thought it would be perfect for this post/class/blog.

Moment of Light one

I took this photo last spring and I really like the color gradation in the photo and how the sun has dots in the center. I also like the angle because the flower looks like a giant. The contrast between the magenta and cyan is really cool too. I hope you like this photograph.
